Crowd Funding Campaign – Centennial Australian Memorial Avenue, Pozieres, France

Of the 295 thousand Australians who served on the Western Front, more than 46 thousand died there. These casualties represent 75% of the approximately 60 thousand Australians who gave their lives for us during WWI. Many more who returned home died in the years following as a direct result of physical and mental suffering endured in the conflict.

With your help, a little over a century after the end of this war to end all wars we will plant a Memorial Avenue along a public road in the Somme in their Honour.
