Collaroy Memorial Avenue

Avenue of Honour Address

Pittwater Road
New South Wales

The Collaroy Avenue of Honour was established in 1925 to commemorate the sacrifice of local soldiers who served overseas during WW1. This Avenue of 16 Norfolk Island Pines (Araucaria heterophylla) is located along both sides of a footpath, Pittwater Road, Collaroy. The memorial is marked by a sandstone block with a grey marble plaque. There also appears to be the remains of a low sandstone wall.
