The Deepwater Memorial Avenue was established 1/07/1954 to commemorate WW2. This Memorial Avenue is located , in New South Wales Australia.

FURTHER DETAILS
The memorial drive is an avenue of liquid amber trees on the New England Highway (Tenterfield St) on the northern side of the village. It was dedicated in July 1954 in memory of those soldiers from Deepwater and district who served in World War Two.
The members of the local RSL decided to plant fifty trees as a war memorial, Messrs Bezzant Bros, proived timber for the tree guards and a working bee of RSL members headed by Mr. I.A. McIntosh (President) planted the trees.
