    The Brooklyn Park Boulevard of Honour was planted in 1995 to commemorate fifty years since the end of World War Two. This Avenue of Honour is located on Sir Donald Bradman Drive, in Brooklyn Park, South Australia. 227 mostly London Plane (Platanus x hispanica) and some Celtis trees were planted. The Boulevard was established as part of the “Australia Remembers, 1945-1995”  program organised by the Federal Government.

    Each tree has an individual memorial plaque set into the pavement dedicated to a person or group of people who served in World War Two:
