Wallaroo Memorial Avenue

Avenue of Honour Address

Wallaroo Heritage Trail 37, Owen Terrace, Owen Tce and Victoria St
Wallaroo
South Australia
5556

The Wallaroo Memorial Avenue was established circa 1935. Historical information suggests that trees were planted from Jetty Road west continuing along Owen Terrace and Victoria Street to the east. Some of the original trees remain along this route. A renewed Memorial Avenue has since been planted along a disused rail corridor bordered by Owen Terrace (NE) and Hughes Street (SW).
