Congratulations to the Moonambel Arts & History Group and the Pyrenees Shire (VIC), for their brilliant restoration in 2015 of their original Avenue of Honour.
Those from the local Moonambel community that made the supreme sacrifice during World War 1 are doubly honoured. In addition to their names engraved in the granite memorial, so too are the numbered trees planted to commemorate their individual service and loss.
